Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA) – Although DAPA is new to the immigration process, our office has given the time and effort to grasp the process in order to determine if our clients are eligible. To be eligible for DAPA, you must: Be the parent of a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident; Have continuously lived in the U.S. since January 1, 2010. Have been present in the U.S. on November 20, 2014. Have not been convicted of certain criminal offenses, including felonies and some misdemeanors. Must not have a lawful immigration status.
