Prior to joining the Victory Law team, he managed his Real Estate Brokerage, Victory Lane Realty, LLC. Throughout her career thus far, Shelby has tirelessly advocated for the most vulnerable populations, including children, immigrants, refugees, and people with disabilities. She has experience in immigration law, family law, disability law, administrative law, bankruptcy, and criminal law. She has successfully litigated cases before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) and courts throughout the Chicagoland area. Shelby currently handles cases concerning removal proceedings, prosecutorial discretion, asylum, waivers, adjustment of status, and naturalization. In her free time, Shelby enjoys hiking, yoga, and reading.

Luis G. Sanchez joined the VLO Team in 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Sanchez worked as an Associate Attorney at Sanchez & Sanchez Law Office in Queretaro, Mexico for over five years. He also held the position of Head of Department of Legislative Projects at the Municipal Presidency of Queretaro, Mexico. Additionally, Mr. Sanchez worked as a Legal Analyst in Legislative Affairs at the Municipal Presidency of Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico from May of 2006 until February of 2010. As a licensed Attorney in Mexico, Mr. Sanchez has worked extensively with clients and their immigration matters. After joining the VLO Team, Mr. Sanchez has also acquired substantial knowledge in assisting our Attorney’s in matters relating to Bankruptcy, Foreclosure Defense, and Family Law.

Mr. Sanchez currently manages VLO’s immigration matters. Not only does he work hands on with our immigration clients, but his genuine desire for successful outcomes for each and every one of our client’s case makes him a valuable asset to our team and to our client’s.  Mr. Sanchez assists our Attorneys and our Clients in all realms of immigration law, including but not limited to; general intakes, translation services, petition/application preparation, client follow ups, preparation for immigration interviews, up until the final receiving of the Green Card/ Citizenship/Visa. In his free time Luis enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with his family.

Christopher Torres manages the daily collections and administration of Victory law Office. His welcoming presence, charisma, and hard work makes him a valuable part of the VLO team. Christopher not only works with VLO Client’s regularly in regards to billing and collections, but he manages the organization of client files and ensures that our clients are communicated with and up to date in regards to their matter at all times. Chris works hand in hand alongside our other Paralegals and Attorneys in regards to all aspects of the office.

Christopher has extensive experience working with client’s in a legal setting, as a result of years of working in multiple Law Firms. Christopher contributes substantially by managing USCIS FOIA’s, CBP FOIA’s, and FBI Background Checks, among many other immigration related tasks. Christopher strives to contribute to your legal needs with diligence, pride, and dedication at all times.

Carlos Garcia has over 6 years of experience working very closely with clients in all aspects of Immigration, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure defense, Loan Modification and Family Law matters. Carlos has great customer service skills and strives to offer the best possible experience for our clients. He understands that many situations in life are put in front of us may result in stress and frustration, and his goals are to keep VLO Client’s informed of their legal matter at every stage, and to make their legal process as easy and comfortable as possible. He focuses his effort on excellent communication skills and organization to create a piece of mind for our clients.  Carlos works very closely with our clients, and believes that in order to be successful on any case, everyone has to be a part of the team and work fluently together.

Lisa has been a paralegal and a legal intake specialist with VLO, P.C. since 2014. She previously worked as a Vice President of Administration and has a Liberal Arts degree in Communications / Organizational Development from Loyola University, Chicago. She has also worked as a Real Estate Broker and is experienced in real estate transactions.
Lisa’s number one priority is to ensure the well being of those around her as she empathizes and relates to client’s. She offers great communication to our client’s needs and concerns.

On a personal level, Lisa loves spending time with her family, has a love for animals, and has an affinity for music.

Fernando has always had a passion for the law and doing everything he can to help others. Fernando’s years of experience working with client’s has given him the understanding of the hardships that they go through and the importance of providing the support and guidance they need during this time.

Fernando enjoys spending time with his family, road trips, exploring national parks, camping  and baseball.

Patino has worked in the legal field for over 15 years. He is a first generation and fully bilingual (
Spanish and English) and loves helping people. Patino strives to assist others and work towards a successful outcome for our client’s. He considers every unique case as an opportunity to apply his legal and communication skills to increase client satisfaction. Patino is a very passionate person who loves what he does and applies his experience and knowledge to every case as if it was his own family.

In his free time, Patino enjoys reading, especially self esteem books that help him boost his spiritual inner strength. He loves learning about other cultures and he loves to travel and stay active. He also enjoys mystery, adventure and  action movies.

Patino also likes to get involved in nonprofit organizations and self help groups to contribute and give back to the community.
